What is the 52-1 District Court?
Located in Novi, the 52-1 District Court is the criminal misdemeanor court for Novi, South Lyon, Wixom, Walled Lake, Milford, Highland, Commerce Township, Lyon Township, and Wolverine Lake. In addition to misdemeanor cases, the Novi Court handled most felony cases that arise from its jurisdiction. The 52-1 District Court is presided over by three judges, Judge David Law, Judge Travis Reeds, and Judge Robert Bondy. Having practiced with all three judges throughout the years, including prior to their appointments and election to office, we are very familiar with their different personalities.
